The following are classified as transactions for the purposes of calculating the fee-free quota: cash withdrawals at a branch, Financial Institution or Member cheques, EFTPOS transactions (including telephone, internet and regular payments using a Visa debit card), electronic external transfers at counter, successful cash withdrawals at Remote Westpac Group ATMs and transactions at Foreign ATMs. 2. Foreign ATMs are ATMs within Australia that are not operated by Hume or the Westpac Group. A direct charge may be applied from that Financial Institution for using their ATM (Foreign ATM) and will be displayed on the screen before the transaction is completed. Local Westpac Group ATMs are ATMs in cities and towns where Hume has an ATM.
