Financial Literacy for Kids

Hume believes it is important to help educate young people in money management, which will enable them to be financially literate and live fulfilled lives.

In understanding the importance of this, Hume has provided a series of links available through the Credit Union Foundation of Australia (CUFA) to assist in spreading financial literacy across the region.

The sites are available to help members, families, children and youth work through a range of online based learning activities.

This series caters for most age brackets and provides a solid financial foundation whether you are just starting school, about to leave university or are entering the workforce.

To begin an online literacy program click on the following links which are relevant to you.

Super Saver: 0 - 6 year of age

Kids and cash: 7 - 9 years of age

Just to be you: 10 - 12 years of age

Be cool with money: 13 - 15 years of age

The contents of the financial literacy series are provided by the Credit Union Foundation of Australia (CUFA).
