Chairman, Independent, non-executive Director

Stuart has been a Board member since March 2007 and Chairman since July 2012. He is Chairman of the Remuneration and Succession Committee and a member of the Audit Committee.
Stuart has been on the Boards of various Mitre 10 companies for 15 years and was Chairman of Mitre 10 South West Ltd for 4 years.

Michael Gobel

Deputy Chairman, Independent, non-executive Director

Michael was elected to the Board in November 2012 and was appointed to the role of Deputy Chairman. Michael is also a member of the Audit Committee. He has provided strategic financial advice to the private business sector, major domestic and international investment funds and government borrowing authorities.  Michael is an active member of the community and was a former Board member of Hot House Theatre Company and currently sits on the Yackandandah Primary School Council and Finance Committee.

Joy has been a Board member since October 1993 and is a member of the Remuneration and Succession Committee. Joy is a Director of the Educational Planning and Development, TAFE NSW Riverina Institute and is a member of the Charles Sturt University Regional Consultative Committee.

Independent, non-executive Director

Ulf has been a Board member since June 1988, was Chairman between August 1998 and June 2012 and is currently a member of the Audit Committee. Ulf is a Chartered Accountant – Partner Huon Group, Chartered Accountants. He is Chairman of Albury Wodonga Health, a member of several committees of Albury Wodonga Health and a Board member of the Community Advisory Board for the Albury Wodonga Campus of the University of NSW Rural Clinical School.

Bill is the former CEO of the Society for 20 years and has been a Board member since June 1985. He is a member of the Remuneration and Succession Committee. Bill is Chairperson of the Albury Wodonga Corporation and was Chairman of Albury City Audit Committee until December 2011. Bill has an ongoing association with Charles Sturt University.

Leo has been a Board member since 1998 and is the Chairman of the Audit Committee. Leo is a former Chartered Accountant and a former partner of an Accounting firm. He is Chair of the Albury City Audit Committee, a Director of Hume Medicare Local and the Chair of its Audit and Risk Committees.

Denise has been a Board member since March 2007. She is a member of the Remuneration and Succession Committee and former member of the Audit Committee. Denise is a councillor with the Greater Hume Shire Council and is on the Boards of YES Youth & Family Services, Back to Reality, Murray Arts, and ATEL and sits within the Executive Committee of UPA Murray.
