Which currency should I take?
Referring to the above list, we recommend you take your cheques in the currency of the country you are visiting. This way, you can often use your cheques like cash in shops and restaurants, and you also get a locked-in exchange rate.
How international are they?
All travellers cheques supplied by Thomas Cook are issued by internationally recognised institutions (either MasterCard or Visa) to ensure worldwide acceptance.
What if my travellers cheques are lost or stolen?
Don't worry. A refund is just a phone call away, and takes as little as 30 minutes to organise. Simply report the loss or theft of your travellers cheques by telephone to the refund centre indicated on your sales advice.
Foreign Cash
In addition to your travellers cheques and/or TravelMoney Card, it is always advisable to carry some local cash to cover taxis, tips etc upon arrival overseas.
Holiday Money regularly stocks over 35 foreign currencies.
