The 2009
Money Magazine Banking Awards have been announced and Hume Building Society features in these prestigious awards yet again.
While most of the
Money Magazine Awards are judged by a panel of experts, there is one award that is voted for by banking customers across Australia – the
Reader’s Choice Award – Customer Excellence.
Hume was announced as the national runner-up, beating all the major banks, coming second only to the Qantas Staff Credit Union.
“The fact that this award was voted for by customers makes it all the more special” said Andrew Saxby, CEO Hume Building Society, “I am extremely proud of all our staff.”
Money Magazine went onto to note that not only was Hume runner-up, but that Hume was the highest ranking of all financial institutions in two categories;
- how likely a member was to recommend Hume to family and friends and;
- for branch interactions.
