Hume Building Society has installed an ATM in the new White Box Rise shopping centre, bringing the total number of
Hume ATMs in the region to 42.
“White Box Rise was a logical extension for us.” shared Andrew Saxby, CEO of Hume Building Society. “Many people
who utilise the shopping centre already bank with us and given we pride ourselves on the convenience we offer, it makes
sense for us to provide an ATM for shoppers.”
Hume’s philosophy is based on offering customers great value products, exceptional service and unparalleled convenience.
“We are in most shopping centres in the region and when White Box Rise opened it made sense that we would extend our
service to the area.” said Mr Saxby.
Hume is a mutual organisation and owned by those that bank with it, which means no shareholders demanding dividends.
This allows Hume to provide a greater level of convenience to customer where it matters to them – which is where they live.
“While we know it is important to provide customers with ATMs where they live, we also realise that customers travel, so
we have an arrangement with Westpac whereby no Hume customer has to pay a direct charge when using
a Westpac Group ATM.”
