Mr Jones, ATO iBank Administrator |
Miss Smith, ATO iBank Administrator |
Mr Harris, Assistant iBank Data Entry User |
Mrs Green, Secretary iBank Data Entry User | Mr B Jones and Ms C Smith are the signatories (ATOs) to the accounts.
Mr B Jones and Ms C Smith are often out of the office on business, and would like their office staff to have authority to access the business accounts when they are away.
Mr Jones and Ms Smith would like their secretary, Mrs Green, to be able to set up payroll and direct transfers / BPays to pay bills when Mr Jones and Ms Smith are back in the office to approve them or they are able to approve them by loggin in to iBank where they are. They would like their admin assistant, Mr Harris, to be able to view transactions so that he can verify that their customers have paid and download statements for their accountant.
Business iBank for XYZ Pty Ltd would be set up using the following process:
Mr Jones has decided to be the Administrator for XYZ Pty Ltd’s Business Banking. Hume sets Mr Jones as the Business Banking Administrator using his member number + BB for the login name, eg; 371619BB and a new password. Mr Jones will still use his normal member number 371619 and personal password to login to his personal iBank.
Mr Jones logs into Business iBank using the login set up by Hume (371619BB) and sets up new logins for each person who requires iBank access for XYZ Pty Ltd. Note: Each individual will still use their normal member number and personal password to access their personal iBank (if they use iBank).
The access Mr Jones would set up would look like this:
